Quick Answer: rec'd sends you notifications we think you'll want to see. You can turn the frequency down or switch them off entirely.
What notifications will I receive?
rec'd sends push notifications to keep you in the loop on activity that matters, such as a friend saving or recommending a place, someone following you, activity on lists you've saved, and picks from the rec'd team.
Managing notification frequency
Go to Profile > Settings (gear icon) > Notifications under the Permissions section. You'll see a green "On" badge if notifications are enabled. Tap to manage.
You can also manage rec'd notifications through your iPhone's Settings > Notifications > rec'd.
