How do I create and manage lists?

Step-by-step guide to creating lists, adding collaborators, and organising your saved places.

πŸ’‘

Quick Answer: Go to your Profile, tap "+ New list", give it a name, optionally add a description, collaborators, and places, then tap "Create".

Overview

Lists let you group saved venues however you like. Create them by occasion, area, cuisine, mood, or anything else.

Creating a new list

  1. Tap Profile > Lists tab > My Lists sub-tab
  1. Tap "+ New list" (or "+ Create a list" if you haven't made any yet)
  1. Fill in the details: List name (required), Description (optional), Public List toggle (on by default), Cover image (tap "+" to upload), Collaborators (tap "+" to search and add people), Places (tap "+ Add Places")
  1. Tap "Create"

Adding places during creation

When you tap "+ Add Places", a modal slides up with a search bar and a NEARBY section showing venues close to you. Tap the checkbox on any venue to select it (a green tick appears). You can also search for specific places. Tap "Done" at the bottom, which shows how many places you've added (e.g. "Done Β· 3 added").

Reordering places in a list

After adding places, you can reorder them using the up/down arrows next to each venue, or remove them with the X button.

Viewing a list

Tapping a list opens the list detail view showing the title, creator, description, collaborator avatars, and stats (Places and Saves counts). Three action buttons appear: Pin (pin the list to the top of your profile so it appears first when others visit), Edit, and Share. Each venue shows a thumbnail, name, category, a "Map view" button, and a "+" button.

Editing a list

Tap Edit on any list you own. The edit screen has "Save" in the top-right. You can update everything. At the bottom of the edit screen, a red "Delete List" button lets you remove the list entirely.

List ideas

By occasion (date night, group dinners), by area (East London, Soho), by cuisine (best sushi, Italian spots), by mood (quick lunch, long boozy dinner), or practical (tried and tested, pubs in the sun).
